Assistant Superintendent

Our client has built quality homes, apartments, and communities across Utah and the West since 1976. As Assistant Superintendent, you will turn plans into finished neighborhoods families trust, keeping every site on time, on budget, and built to last.

Performance Objectives

• Drive daily site operations so each phase finishes on schedule and within 5% of budget.
• Direct subcontractors and crews to deliver defect-free work that passes first-time inspections.
• Identify and close punch-list items 25% faster than prior projects through proactive walkthroughs.
• Enforce safety protocols that produce zero lost-time incidents across assigned sites.
• Coordinate material deliveries and inspections so no crew waits more than one day for resources.
• Document progress photos and reports that give Superintendents real-time visibility every afternoon.

Environment & Resources

You report to the Project Superintendent and work alongside 8–12 tradespeople plus a small office support team. You will use Procore, Bluebeam, and company trucks on active residential and multifamily sites throughout the Salt Lake Valley. A modest site budget and dedicated safety equipment are provided.

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on residential or multifamily construction experience.
• Proven ability to read plans, run a daily huddle, and keep a site moving.
• OSHA 30 and current first-aid/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work outdoors year-round in Utah weather.
• Track record of finishing projects with fewer than 3% punch-list items at close-out.
